Whilst we are supported by Meyer IT Limited, they are a small company and don't have unlimited resources at their disposal, so we have to charge for things that cost us!
Why do you charge a markup and not just pass on the equipment you are supplying at the same price you aquire it for?
Our cost are not just the raw cost of equipment... there is also the cost of banking and payment fees, supply and fulfillment costs, staff costs and expenses, and lots more to be considered.
Resellers normally charge a markup of over 10%, and often closer to 25%, to cover the costs above and make a small profit.
Our markup will always be under 10%, and often as low as 5%.
How did you get to 5%?
We broke it down into the following costs which were exclusivly related to supplying to charities at a low cost:
